At Life Be Lifin, our mission is to celebrate and uplift the stories of extraordinary people who are redefining success by balancing their entrepreneurial dreams with the joys and challenges of motherhood. Through powerful storytelling, inspiring interviews, and visual artistry, we aim to empower individuals everywhere to pursue their passions, embrace their roles as mothers, and recognize the beauty in their unique journeys. Our goal is to create a supportive community where women can see themselves reflected, inspired, and celebrated for the strength and grace they bring to both their work and their families.
Our
Story
Drea and Janeen decided to start Life Be Lifin' because they both recognized the need for a platform that authentically tells the stories of people juggling life's many roles and challenges. As mothers, entrepreneurs, and friends, they experienced firsthand the struggles of balancing motherhood with their professional and personal aspirations. Through candid conversations, they often found themselves inspired by the resilience and creativity of those around them—particularly moms who were striving to make their dreams a reality while nurturing their families.

They wanted to create a space where these stories could be shared, celebrated, and used to inspire others who might feel overwhelmed by life's demands. Life Be Lifin' became their way of highlighting the beauty in the chaos, the strength in vulnerability, and the triumph in perseverance. For Drea and Janeen, this series is not just a project but a passion-driven movement to show that while life may throw challenges, there’s always a way to rise, thrive, and connect through shared experiences.

Co-founder of My Brand is Black Agency, and Mom of 2
Drea Nicole is an accomplished celebrity photographer, successful business owner, and proud mother of a son and daughter. Her diverse entrepreneurial pursuits include owning a luxury candle company called "Rebel Home", co-founding a marketplace for small Black Owned Businesses call "My Brand is Black", and mentoring aspiring photographers as a coach. Drea’s passion for storytelling through photography and her personal journey as a mother and entrepreneur led her to co-create "Life Be Lifin" alongside her close friend Janeen. Together, they aim to inspire and uplift women navigating the delicate balance between building their businesses and raising their families.

With a background as a singer, co-owner of a thriving clothing brand, and podcaster, Janeen brings a dynamic energy to everything she does. She is deeply committed to exploring the balance of motherhood and entrepreneurship, as she navigates her own path as a mom while pursuing her dreams. Inspired by her experiences, Janeen co-founded "Life Be Lifin" to share the stories of women who, like her, are balancing their aspirations with the beauty and challenges of motherhood.
